Dr. Cody Ward

Dr. Cody Ward grew up in Fergus Falls, MN. He graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 2012, and attended South Dakota State University where he majored in Biology and Biochemistry. After completing his undergraduate degree, he stayed on at SDSU to continue working with a lab that was involved with researching and development of the lymphatic system. He then attended the Oklahoma College of Optometry in Tahlequah, OK. Following graduation, Dr. Ward completed a residency where he furthered his training in ocular disease and surgery.

In the profession of optometry Dr. Ward’s interests include disease and surgical procedures. He enjoys being able to apply the skills that he has been trained in to better help his patients achieve their goals. Dr. Ward says: “It is great to be back home where I can enjoy hunting, fishing, and spending time with my family. I consider it to be a great honor that I can be back in Fergus Falls, and able to serve the community and people that helped to raise me.”

Dr. Ward is a proud member of the Minnesota Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
